White water rafting is one of the most adventurous and thrilling ways to explore the country – its natural beauty and ethno-cultural heritage. One need not be a professional or a thrill seeker to enjoy rafting or kayaking in Nepal. The rivers of the kingdom offer a wide range of possibilities for novices as well as professionals – ranking from Class I to Class VI rapids in terms of difficulty.

There are quite a number of raft able rivers in Nepal. The following rivers are in use for the purpose of commercial rafting:

01. TRISHULI RIVER --------------- 01 TO 04 DAYS

Day 01: Drive to Baireni put in point, raft to Malekhu camping.
Day 02: Malekhu to Fishling camp on river bank.
Day 03: Fishling to Simaltal camp like a before days.
Day 04: Simaltal to Narayanghad take out point and then drive to your
Destination.

02. SETI RIVER ------------------------- 03 DAYS

Day 01: Drive to put in point, Damauli then raft to Sarang Ghat and camp.
Day 02: Sarang Ghat to Jugedi over night.
Day 03: Jugedi to Narayanghat take out point, then drive your destination.

03. KALIGANDAKI RIVER -------------- 03 DAYS

Day 01: Drive to Kushma put in point, and raft to Modi Beni overnight camp.
Day 02: Modi Beni to Jungle Ghat overnight camp.
Day 03: Jungle Ghat to Mirmi take out point and drive to your destination.

04. BHERI (FISHING) RIVER ----------------- 05 DAYS

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu / Pokhara full day to Samjhighat put in point and
Overnight.
Day 02: From Samjhighat early morning after breakfast the raft to Batule Chour
Camp.
Day 03: Batule Chour to Rani Ghat Camp.
Day 04: Rani Ghat to Confluence of Karnali and Bheri river and camp
Day 05: Confluence point of Karnali and Bheri river to Chisapani take out point
Then drive to your destination.

05. MARSHYANDI RIVER ----------------------- 05 DAYS

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Beshisahar and stay overnight.
Day 02: Drive again Beshisaharto put in point, Nagdi and overnight at Khundi.
Day 03: Raft from Kundi to Ghote Odar (cave) then overnight.
Day 04: Bhote Odar (cave) to Turture camp.
Day 05: Turture to Bimalnagar take out point, drive to your destination.

06. ARUN --- 8 DAYS INCLUDING 2 DAYS DRIVE & 1 DAY TREK

Day 01/02: Drive from Kathmandu to all the way Leguwa overnight there.
Day 03: Start trek from Leguwa to Tumlingtar overnight at tent.
Day 04: Tumlingtar rafting put in point, to Khahre overnight camp.
Day 05: Khahare to Kewakhola overnight camp.
Day 06: Kewakhola to Raighat then overnight camp.
Day 07: Raighat to Barahchetra religious place & overnight camp.
Day 08: Barahachetra to Chatara take out point, and drive to your destination.

07. BUDHIGANDAKI & TRISHULI RIVER ------------------ 04 MORE DAYS

Day 01: Aarughat by overland & sameday short rafting and overnight.
Day 02: Aarughat to Jogitar overnight camp.
Day 03: Jogitar to Majhimtar raft then overnight camp.
Day 04: Majhimtar to Kurintar take out point, if you want more days can do.

08. SETI KARNALI KAYAKING AND RAFTING -------------- 11 DAYS

Day 01/02: Drive from Kathmandu to Dipayal then Deura overnight camp.
Day 03: Deura put in point, kayaking to Dhungad overnight.
Day 04: From Dhungad to Dipayal kayaking and overnight.
Day 05: Dipayal to Gopghat kayaking and camp.
Day 06: Gopghat rafting put in point, to Gandighat camp.
Day 07: Gandighat to Budhiganga confluence overnight camp.
Day 08: Budhiganga confluence to Karnali confluence then overnight.
Day 09: Karnali confluence to Chisapani take out point, and overnight.
Day 10/11: Chisapani to drive back to your destination.

09. KARNALI RIVER EXPEDITION ------------------------------- 10 DAYS

Day 01/02: Kathmandu to rafting put in point, by overland and overnight.
Day 03: Karleghat to Deuralighat and overnighat.
Day 04: Deuraligaht to Riverghat overnighat camp.
Day 05: Riverghat to confluence of Seti River and camp.
Day 06: Seti confluence to Todalighat overnight camp.
Day 07: Todalighat to Solta Village then camp.
Day 08: Solta Village to Pathare Dhunga and camp.
Day 09: Pathare Dhunga to Chisapani take out point, overnight on riverbank.
Day 10: Chisapani to drive to your destination.

10. SUNKOSHI (RIVER OF GOLD) EXPEDITION --------- 07 TO 09 DAYS

Day 01: Drive Kathmandu to Dolalght put in point & raft to Kuhebhir camp.
Day 02: Kuhebhir to Puchhighat overnight camp.
Day 03: Puchhighat to Dhanigaht overnight camp.
Day 04: Dhanighat to Harkapur camp.
Day 05: Harkapur to Raighat camp.
Day 06: Raighat to Rasuwaghat camp.
Day 07: Rasuwaghat to Ranighat overnight camp.
Day 08: Ranighat to Trivenighat camp.
Day 09: Trivenighat to Chatara rafting take out point and to your destination.
